Questions ~

So, here we are 8 days after the "election".  I put that in quotation marks because I personally believe that had this been a truly free and fair election the results would look DRASTICALLY different.  And so, yes, I believe fraud and deception won out and this election was stolen.  I believe this issue needs to be figured out, and so, I press on.  I am contacting state governors and secretary of each state in the swing states requesting there be a recount.  You should do the same.  I'm using the letter I previously posted.  Please feel free to use it yourself.  Here is a link that has all the contact information you will need.

Anyhooooooo.............

I have a few questions ~ for those who know.  I was young ~ like born in 1979 young ~ when President Reagan was our president.  I don't really remember much from a political standpoint (from much of any standpoint, as a matter of fact) about that era.
Then moving on to George HW Bush's administration ~ I kinda sorta remember that.  I remember the Gulf War.  I think I remember it so well because we lived in a town with an Air Force base and talk of deployments were rampant.  I remember the gas wars.  I remember when gas was $.88/gallon ~ those were truly the good ole' days.  Then I can vaguely remember watching the debates between President Bush I, Ross Perot, and Bill Clinton.  I remember becoming more aware  of things like that because I would get upset that Who's the Boss and The Commish weren't on those nights because of those stupid heads on their.  Oy.
And I can remember somewhat of Clinton's presidency.  But still it didn't occur to me to be "into" it.  I remember when Rush Limbaugh came on the scene ~ being a ditto head wasn't a term of endearment but I think some people relished it!  I know that I would now!  And yes, even as a young innocent naive girl just becoming a teenager, and eventually a woman during the Clinton years, I remember the scandals that rocked the White House.  I remember after the whole Monica Lewinsky affair and the "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" ~ I remember watching Bill, Hillary and Chelsea walking to Marine 1 and Bill tried to take Hillary's hand and I can remember watching her pull away (at least I think I can remember that ;)  ).  I remember when the Twin Towers got bombed the first time.  I remember when Timothy McVeigh blew up the Government building in OKC and how utterly devastated I was watching the faces of all those little babies who died in the daycare center there.  I remember standing with my church in a life chain on Pro-life Sunday.  I remember all that.

So, all that to ask my questions ~ what was conservatism in America like back then?  What was the Reagan Presidency like?  And the following years ~ how did conservatism react to the election of Bill Clinton?  Was it different from what it feels like now?  Was there the feeling that "this is NOT a good thing"?  A can our country survive another 4 years of this?

I'm curious because those are the feelings I'm facing right now.  I'm worried and weary and fear that what once made our country great is no longer there.  America traded her greatness for an Obamaphone, and can we truly be a great nation again?  A free nation?   I fear we traded our freedom for the chains of slavery all for the sake of entitlements.  And I fear that my children will never know how great America once was and will be again.  I fear that America chose tyranny for free contraception.

“America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” ~ Alexis de Tocqueville

I long to make America great again!  I would very much appreciate any and all input!

An Open letter to the Republican Leadership

Dear Sirs and Madams:
Today, I am writing to you because I am a member of the Republican party.  You are the leaders of the Party with whom I identify.  So, as such, I am turning to you hoping that you will do something.
As President Reagan once said, “Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty.”  And for this reason, I implore you to please read and listen to the sentiments conveyed in this letter.  As of late November 7, 2012, WE THE PEOPLE are facing unprecedented threats to our liberty.  WE THE PEOPLE are facing a massively large government that will threaten the very ideals that we as Americans hold close and dear to our hearts.
I am appalled and more than angry about the events that transpired on November 6, 2012.  That was the day of our supposed fair and free election.  The events to which I am referring to are the rampant cases of voter fraud in the swing states.  And I’m sure in areas of other states, too.  Rampant cases of Republican poll workers being unseated and barred from doing their job.  And even then not allowed back in even with a court order.
WE THE PEOPLE do not believe the numbers that are being given to us as to the actual voter turnout on November 6th.  We cannot see the massive number of attendees at Romney Ryan events just days before the election then to be told that Mitt Romney received upwards to 3 million less votes than John McCain received in 2008.  We do not believe the numbers that are being shoved down our throats by every supposed news organization.
WE THE PEOPLE are tired of being lied to.  WE THE PEOPLE are not going to sit and take it anymore.  But what can WE THE PEOPLE do?  We can make our voices heard.
WE THE PEOPLE are calling on you, the leadership and representatives of not only our party but of those in the government, to do what needs to be done.  We are asking you to sequester all ballots at the state capitols.  We are asking you to demand an exam and a full recount of every ballot to ensure that every ballot cast was cast by voters who were legally able to cast it.  We are asking that you, our representatives, stand up and fight with us against the tyranny that is trying to descend on us.
Let us, WE THE PEOPLE, be the spine that you desperately need.  Because we are tired of being told our values don’t matter and to move along because there is nothing here to see.  It’s hard to hide mountains of fraud, but we feel that is what you are doing, or at the very least ignoring it.  WE ARE NOT.  And we will not take it anymore.
President Reagan also said “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”  And I fear that if we don’t do something about the deception and fraud perpetrated on our country, we may just be seeing the extinction of freedom.  I want to give my children a free and a prosperous  America.   But, we need your help to do so.  Once our free and fair elections are stolen from us, we  are no longer a free country.  Let’s change this.

November 1st

Wow.  I believe I just officially gave up on blogging all together for a while there.  And now, here we sit.  Five days from election day, y'all.  FIVE. DAYS.  Five days until we have the opportunity to stop the downward spiral of our country.  Five days to give America another chance to turn back to her God.  The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  The God who loved us so much HE gave us HIS Son to die in our place.  We are of all people most blessed.  I'm grateful for this country.  And I cannot wait to cast my vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.  It is with clear eyes and full hearts we will do so, and we cannot lose.

And in that spirit, I would like to post here why I will be casting my vote the way I am going to.  I didn't write the following, it is simply just a copy and paste from facebook, but it is what I believe!

WHO WILL GET MY VOTE ???
*I will vote for the most pro-life candidate, because God hates the shedding of innocent blood(Proverbs 6:17).
*I will vote for the most pro-Israel candidate, because God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who don't(Genesis 12:3).
*I will vote for the most pro-debt reduction candidate, because the borrower is servant to the lender(Proverbs 22:7).
*I will vo
te for the most pro-work candidate, because God says if a man does not work, let him not eat(2 Thessalonians 3:10).
...*I will vote for the most pro-marriage candidate, because God is for marriage as defined in (Genesis 2:24).
*I will vote for the candidate who most closely believes governments purpose is to reward the good and punish the evil(Romans 13).
*I will vote based as closely as I can on Gods word(2 Timothy 3:16),
I will vote for Romney/Ryan.... knowing whoever gets elected, God is the One who puts all men in authority(Daniel 2:21).
If you are offended by the fact that I stated who I'm voting for,....I would say I'm sorry.....if I were sorry, but I'm not. I still love my country, and I'm afraid that this may be our last chance to preserve it for our children.
Yes, I know that the only real hope for us is Revival, but I will not stand Idly by and watch as the America that my forefathers bled and died for is changed into something they would not even recognize.
May God have mercy on America!

And this is why on November 6th I will cast my vote for Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan, Ann Marie Buerkle, Wendy Long and Don Miller.

Don't just vote for someone who says nice words.  Vote for someone who has convictions.  Vote for someone who holds as closely as possible to what you firmly believe.  Any vote cast is a vote for History.  Know who you are voting for and why you want to vote for them.   And just vote.  Vote. VOTE.  Many died to give us this right to vote.  So use it!
